Kirsti and Caz caught up recently for a chat with Transgender footballer Blair Hamilton, whose known since the age of four she identified as female.
Like most trans folk of her generation, she lived a heteronormative and cisgender life set out for her, marrying during her early 20s.
After several years of marriage, she divorced and decided to transition soon after.
Football has always been a constant for the Abeerdeen University student and counsellor and in our conversations with her, we explore her life experiences on and off the pitch in both male [pre-transition] and female [post-transition] competitions and her recent debate on BBC radio with former British Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies and we discuss how that experience was.
